Borders Open-Door Poetry invites you to submit your writing question (as text or video) for a chance to have it answered in a video response from 4-Time National Individual Slam Champion, Pushcart and Patterson Poetry Prize-winning author, Patricia Smith.

Q&A Details
  1. Question submissions will carry over from each consecutive Q&A series so you needn’t resubmit the same.
  2. You can submit as many questions as you’d like, but please submit each one separately by clicking the button below.  A pop-up form will appear for your entry.
  3. Questions will be chosen based on originality and benefit to writers and readers.
  4. Questions may be submitted as text or video in any common format not exceeding 12MB.  If you submit video, please also submit the text of your video within the same entry form.
  5. You must be over 13 years of age to submit a question.
